These are my very favorite cookies all of all the cookies I have made. I do make these cookies often. I put everything in them, they have oatmeal, Skor candy bars, dried cherries, chocolate and walnuts.
Angie’s Cookies
16 tablespoon butter room temperature
1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla paste
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups old fashion oats ~ oatmeal
1 package semisweet chocolate chips
2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup packed dried bing cherries
5 skor chopped candy bars
Pre heat oven to 350
Line baking pans with parchment paper
Using an electric standing mixer with the paddle attachment cream butter and sugars well until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, salt and baking soda mix until mixture is mixed completely. Mix in flour and once somewhat mixed in add your oatmeal, then add chocolate chips, next add nuts. Add your cherries and candy bar last, this way you do not over mix or it will grind up your cherries and candy. I use a small cookie scoop about a tablespoon size on the baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, cool and remove from pan.
