As many of you know it snowed in Atlanta this week and last week. Well, it does not snow much here in the south so we are not ready or prepared for the snow or the change it brings with it. Brrrrr…… Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! See Maggy? She is dressed for the occasion.
I was ready at my house….had many things to cook and eat. We did end up inviting some of the neighbors over to share and enjoy some of the crazy things I cooked up. This is one of the things we enjoyed over the winter break. The boys enjoyed them so much they said to put on the repeat list WOW. They really liked them…I was even ask to share them with you as well. This is a really easy recipe, hope you enjoy them.
Cheese Burger Tacos
1 pound grass fed ground beef
2 minced cloves of garlic
1 minced jalapeño
1 cup of cream
2 cups of grated Queso-Melt cheese
1 teaspoon Sriracha Hot chili sauce
1 teaspoon taco seasoning mix
1 tablespoon butter
fresh choped cilantro
fresh shredded cabbage
Brown the ground beef well, while still on the heat add the garlic for a few seconds. Then add the jalapeños and taco seasoning mix in completely. Add your cream and mix well, add the cheese and stir continually until the cheese melts. Add Sriracha and stir until completely mixed. Cover and simmer on a low flame while toasting your tortillas.
I oil my griddle with a little butter and toast or brown the tortillas on each side this makes all the difference in the world in the taste of them. Once done I wrap in foil while I continue to brown the rest of the tortillas. Then I put meat in the tortillas, cabbage and a little cilantro squeeze of lime and little more Srirache and oh goodness…Deeeelish!
