The Best Brazilian Lemon Aid

February 24, 2012 by Angie Leave a Comment

This is the best lemon aide….funny it is actually lime that is used instead lemon. This is so yummy it is light, fresh and different. Try it, try it! I was going to wait and post it later in summer or at least warmer weather. I have had so many request for me to post it so I am. It is great try it and you too will agree. I make this in the blender and it gives it a lighter and foamy texture.

Lemon Aid

juice of 3 limes plus pulp
3 tablespoons sweeten condensed milk
1/3 cup sugar
2 fresh mint leaves
2 cups of water

I place everything in the blender and run until light and foamy. I do like to add a little lime zest as well. When you add the lime zest you have to serve right away or it will tend to get bitter. If you are not serving right away leave this part off. After it is light and foamy pour over a glass filled with ice and add a fresh mint leave. It is Deee~lish promise. Easy Peasy too! It is also good to add the ice to the blender and make a frozen drink.

I would think this would be great to add a little rum to or even vodka or Moonshine for a nice light cocktail. Enjoy!
