Puppy Chow Chex Party Mix ~ Gluten Free

December 21, 2011 by Angie 3 Comments

This is one thing that is known by many names…White Trash, Chex Mix, Party Mix, Puppy Chow and if you have ever had a puppy you do know it does in deed look like puppy chow. This is so easy to make. I love it and will eat all I can get my hands on. I will make 2 batches of this over the holiday season. This Chex Mix is my favorite one. I do have many other recipes of Chex Mixes too. I will post another this year and maybe save some to post next year.

White Trash Or Puppy Chow Mix # 1

1 stick butter
1 cup peanut butter
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
1 box Rice Chex ~ small box
1 box 10 ~ X Powdered Sugar

Melt better, peanut butter, and chocolate. Once all melted and mixed together add chex. Make sure to coat all the chex’s with chocolate. Be careful not to break the chex’s. Then coat with powdered sugar and coat well. Enjoy…..

I was given this recipe over 30 years ago so a long….long time ago!
