Shrimp Tacos With Spicy Mayo

October 2, 2011 by Angie 1 Comment

 Shrimp Tacos with Spicy Mayo
1.5 pounds of fresh shrimp
1/2 stick butter
1 teaspoon minced garlic
dash of tequila of you have it
1/4 teaspoon Tony’s Chachere’s Creole Seasoning ~ we like a little more be
careful!
Juice of one lime

Melt butter in large sauce pan add shrimp, seasoning, lime juice and tequila and cook just until done. If sauce is a little running remove shrimp and cook until nice and thick. I grill my tortillas just briefly until warmed through.

Once shrimp is done add to tortillas and add desired toppings we add cabbage, avocados, tomatoes, cilantro and squeeze of lime…maybe a sprinkle of mexican cheese or even a little dice of jalapeno. Enjoy!

Toppings
Spicy mayo ~ recipe to follow
sliced avocado
thin sliced cabbage
chopped tomatoes
cilantro
fresh lime
minced jalapeno
fresh tortillas
